What your German company will actually cost

Our package price includes the German notary, the commercial register, the trade office and the IHK name check. Answer a few questions and watch the number change. No email required to see it.

1 Ownership
2 Legal form and capital

Our package fee is the same for a GmbH and a UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Statutory notary and register fees depend on the individual formation structure and the applicable transaction value.

Share capital is not a fee. It belongs to your company. We ask because statutory notary fees rise with it. Notary and register costs are included on the basis of share capital up to €50,000 — above that we quote the official costs for your case separately.

3 The notary appointment

English-language appointment and bilingual documents are provided by our partner notary. Whether any additional translation or interpreter is legally required remains subject to the notary’s assessment.

4 Your German business address

Your own address does not reduce the package price: the formation work is identical either way. What it changes is the monthly fee — you do not pay one.

Why we suggest our address. In our experience Reutlingen is an easy place to be registered — the city, the trade office and the tax office are approachable, and they answer. And for us a formation is not a transaction that ends with the register entry: it is the start of a working relationship, and we would like to keep advising and accompanying you as the company grows. Having your post, your authorities and your contact person in one place is what makes that practical.

5 People and extras

Up to two are included. From the third onwards, €250 each.

One is included. From the second onwards, €200 each.

The EORI number itself is free. The charge is for preparing and submitting the application to German customs.

6 Always included
  • All three banking routes, and the anti-money-laundering file prepared by our CAMS-certified specialist in Bengaluru
  • Tax registration with the Finanzamt — preparation and submission of the Fragebogen zur steuerlichen Erfassung, and coordination through to issuance of your German tax number
  • Application for the VAT identification number (USt-IdNr.)
  • Entry in the Transparenzregister
  • Introduction to a German tax adviser, and the handover to them

No provider in Germany can promise you a bank account — the bank decides. What we do is prepare the file so the decision is made on the merits and not on missing documents.

Want to see what the German state and third parties charge, independently of us? Our cost calculator works out the statutory notary and register fees under the GNotKG schedule, and compares two real notary invoices side by side.
